Dermatology conferences and societies represented on postage stamps

The postage stamp has long been used by governments and the postal services of various countries to represent a variety of people (royalty, heads of state, sportsmen and women), customs and events (sporting events ie Olympics, Christmas and other holidays). This depiction has extended to the representation of numerous Dermatology events including the World Congress of Dermatology on stamps and first day covers and the production of one-off postage franks to the anniversary of Dermatology societies both on stamps and first day covers. Many of these stamps are now well recognised collector’s items.
